Water Parks & Theme Parks in Pattaya

What are the best water parks and theme parks in Pattaya?

Fourteen water parks and theme parks in and around Pattaya, Thailand, compared on rating, price and area. Pattaya Dolphinarium is the highest rated at 4.7★ from 4,804 Google reviews, with Nongnooch Pattaya Garden close behind at 4.6★. They spread across Pattaya (6), Na Chom Thian (5) and Nong Pla Lai (2).

Pattaya has an unusual concentration of ticketed attractions for a city this size — fourteen big family ones sit within about half an hour of the centre — and they are not interchangeable. The two big water parks are Ramayana, which bills itself as the largest in the country, and Aquaverse — the Columbia Pictures park that older guides still call Cartoon Network Amazone, since it was rebuilt under new branding rather than replaced. Against those, the water park at the foot of Pattaya Park Tower is plainer and older, but cheaper and far quieter, and it is the only one actually inside the city. The rest are a mix of miniature parks, cultural grounds and animal attractions, several of which reward a weekday visit when they are close to empty.

  1. 1Pattaya Dolphinarium

    ★ 4.7 (4,804) · Pattaya

“Well run, spotlessly clean and children love it — but it is a performing-dolphin show, so if captive marine mammals sit badly with you, this isn't your afternoon. If you do go, book online, take the middle rows rather than the splash seats unless you want a soaking, and note that child tickets go by height at 120cm, not age. Closed Wednesdays.”

  2. 2Nongnooch Pattaya Garden

    ★ 4.6 (44,028) · Na Chom Thian

“Far more than a garden — themed grounds, life-sized dinosaurs and a genuinely good elephant and cultural show that keeps kids and adults happy for three or four hours. Go right at opening (8am) before the heat and the tour buses roll in, take the tram to cover the huge site, and treat lunch as fuel rather than a highlight.”

  3. 3Ramayana Water Park

    ★ 4.6 (9,641) · Na Chom Thian

“The biggest water park within reach of Pattaya, and the one I'd send families to first — proper thrill slides for the teens, gentle pools and a lazy river for the little ones, and somehow it never feels packed. Book online before you go (a fair bit cheaper than the gate), eat beforehand because the food inside is forgettable, and don't turn up on a Wednesday — it's shut.”

  4. 4Khao Kheow Open Zoo

    ★ 4.5 (24,349) · Bang Phra

“The best zoo within reach of Pattaya by a wide margin — open enclosures, deer that wander up to you, and Moo Deng pulling crowds since she became famous. It's forty minutes north and far too big to walk, so hire a golf cart the moment you arrive. Come on a weekday, be there at opening, and plan the day around the feeding sessions.”

  5. 5Art In Paradise Pattaya

    ★ 4.4 (13,948) · Pattaya

“A 3D illusion museum where the whole point is photographing yourself inside the paintings, so bring people willing to look daft — on your own it's a very quick walk round. Ninety minutes covers it, and being air-conditioned makes it a sound move in the afternoon heat. Book on Klook rather than paying at the counter, and don't bother with the app.”

  6. 6Columbia Pictures Aquaverse

    ★ 4.3 (8,048) · Na Chom Thian

“The old Cartoon Network park, reborn with a Hollywood theme — slides from gentle to genuinely scary, plus go-karts, mini-golf and hourly shows to fill a whole day. Pre-book on Klook or Shopee to roughly halve the price, budget for the locker and towel fees, and remember no outside food or drink is allowed so the pricey cafés are your only option. Closed Wednesdays.”

  7. 7Ripley's Believe It or Not!

    ★ 4.3 (8,593) · Pattaya

“Not a museum but a dozen attractions stacked above Royal Garden Plaza, and the value is entirely in the combo ticket — buy it online, never at the desk. The Odditorium holds the adults; Scream in the Dark and the two walk-through horrors hold the teenagers. Be firm on that last point, because staff will tell you the horror attractions suit small children and they don't.”

  8. 8Legend Siam Pattaya

    ★ 4.2 (2,029) · Na Chom Thian

“An odd one: a vast cultural theme park twenty minutes south that's so empty midweek you can photograph the whole site without a soul in shot. The haunted house with live actors is genuinely good and better than anything else here. Check what's actually running before you pay, and hire a cart, because the grounds are enormous with almost no shade.”

  9. 9Mini Siam

    ★ 4.2 (7,957) · Pattaya

“Scale models of Thailand's monuments and the world's landmarks, built with real care — far more charming than it sounds. The mistake is going in the afternoon, when there's no shade and the models bake. Arrive after four and stay until the lighting comes on, which is when the park is at its best. An hour and a half is enough.”

  10. 10The Million Years Stone Park & Pattaya Crocodile Farm

    ★ 4.2 (7,741) · Nong Pla Lai

“The stone gardens are handsome and the crocodile farm is on a scale you won't see elsewhere. I'd still think twice. Reviewers consistently describe tigers chained in small cages and animals struck during the shows, and the children's playground is broken. If animal welfare matters to you at all, spend the day at Khao Kheow instead.”

  11. 11Pattaya Water Park

    ★ 4.1 (2,374) · Pattaya

“The cheap and cheerful one, and the only water park actually in town — plainer and visibly older than Ramayana or Aquaverse, with some slides shut and rust on the stairs. What it has over them is the location and the price: walk out to Dongtan beach and come back in on the same ticket. Fine for an afternoon with small children.”

  12. 12FROST Magical Ice of Siam

    ★ 4.0 (5,265) · Nong Pla Lai

“A walk-in freezer full of ice carvings, an ice slide and an ice bar, which sounds absurd in thirty-degree heat and is exactly why children love it. Coats and boots come with the ticket but gloves cost extra, so budget for those. The main hall is smaller than the pricing implies and an hour inside is plenty, which makes the activity bundles the better buy.”

  13. 13Swiss Sheep Farm Pattaya

    ★ 3.9 (1,740) · Na Chom Thian

“Toddlers, a bag of feed and some sheep to hand it to — that's the appeal, and at that age it works. Everyone else should know the place is tired: a good half of the alpine-cottage photo set is shut or mid-renovation and the ticket desk is often unstaffed. Treat it as a stop on the way to Legend Siam rather than a trip in itself.”

  14. 14Underwater World Pattaya

    ★ 3.9 (15,461) · Pattaya

“One good idea — a hundred metres of tunnel with sharks and rays gliding overhead — surrounded by a fairly tired aquarium. With children it lands well, especially timed to a feeding show; on your own you'll be out in forty minutes wondering about the ticket price. Its real value is being cold and indoors when the afternoon heat becomes unbearable.”
